Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were one of the most watched couples of 2012, for more reasons than one. Not only did they have three major films to talk about, but their off-screen relationship took a sordid turn with Stewart’s affair with married Director Rupert Sanders.
The damaging cheating scandal erupted just as their professional careers were peaking. The last of their “Twilight” films, “Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ was heading for its debut, while they were promoting two films close to their hearts.
Stewart, 22, was making the rounds promoting “On the Road,” the movie based on Jack Kerouac’s ’50s novel, and Rob was touting his film, “Cosmopolis,” filmed with renowned director David Cronenberg.
