Liverpool to Confirm £12m Chelsea Attacker Signing In Next 48 Hours

Sturridge Liverpool deal
Stamford Bridge forward on his way to Anfield.

Liverpool believe they have resolved the cash wrangle over Daniel Sturridge’s proposed move to Anfield and expect to confirm that a deal has been agreed in the next 48 hours.
The £12million-plus transfer was in danger of collapsing after Liverpool took exception to agents’ demands over sell-on fees and threatened to pull out.

This deal has been dragging out for quite some weeks now but it appears that issues related to agent fees has been resolved and the 23 year old is set to move from Stamford Bridge to Anfield.
According to this source an agreement has been reached that will see Daniel Sturridge join Liverpool after a lengthy period warming the bench at Chelsea.
Sturridge has barely had a look-in in the Blues starting eleven ever since Andre Villas-Boas was sacked in March, making just one Premier League start this season.
Brendan Rodgers is no doubt keen to complete such a deal early on in the January transfer window in order to avoid the transfer deadline day heartache they experienced in the summer when Liverpool failed in a number of moves for much needed striker signings.
Sturridge has made a total of 96 appearances for Chelsea, 47 of which coming from the bench, scoring 24 goals in the process.
